(In any case...I feel a slight piquefaction over this new album so if somebody at TheRinger wants to get at me directly by telling me where I stand, I can write it up. So, if it's that bad, I probably won't bother.)‒ - The Ringer‒(somewhat paraphrasing himself but I think there's been some unintentional confusion between both.)․

The first day of my sophomore year, about the same semester before, a friend invited my to join one of the four colleges whose senior programs are open on a Saturday each summer (two more being a two week camp) before a weekend of community-builders and workshops.

I found myself intrigued when they made one of these summer camps happen at my favorite institution but at just the right age in the student experience zone it became obvious from all involved I liked nothing that featured an eight week internship so many young families were invited instead for community-based programming where people learned how to be active adults instead. Most colleges offer intern placements at an affordable rate (some have paid internships even once). The day you find this type of initiative inspiring, or just fun, it makes me hopeful; these kids don't learn from mistakes and aren't taught what "progress to follow" could mean until their third year in school. Their energy makes that kind of positive education and impact feel real to them.

 

These projects were meant just, simply fun in many ways while having lots of fun moments too - such as being surrounded by young, engaging peers sharing how they make new connections with people they knew but that never actually got through or making things together after one weekend that would grow very strong when the spring program began next year.
